What is a Neighbourhood Forum?
  • An opportunity for you and the community to express your ideas and views about local issues.
  • A chance to contribute towards improving your area.
  • Find out about local community groups, services in your area and be consulted by the Council about issues affecting you and your area.
What kind of issues can people raise?
  • Youth Concerns
  • Crime & Policing Issues
  • Community Funding Issues
  • Litter, Traffic Problems, Housing Repairs
  • Public Transport……and many more!
Who Chairs the meeting? The meetings are chaired by staff from the Area Co-ordinator’s Office, who will answer your questions, give you information about how to get the service you need and give you a chance to have your say.
Who do we invite?
  • We invite guest speakers from agencies such as the Police, Housing, Age Concern, Youth Services, Cleansing and Health agencies.
  • Local Councillors also attend Neighbourhood Forums to hear your views and provide additional information.
