Health and unpaid caring

In the 2001 Census, 10% of the population described their health as ‘not good’. The average for the Bradford District is 10.1%. 18.1% of the population have a long term illness that limits their daily activities. This may include any problems related to old age. In terms of unpaid care, 10.6% of the population provide some form of unpaid care. 23.4% of carers provide over 50 hours of unpaid care a week.
